Our story began in 2010, when Axum Coffee opened its doors as a coffee shop on a mission to make a difference, starting with cultivating community and relationships over exceptional cups of coffee. We wanted to create a down-to-earth place with a peaceful atmosphere where our friends and community could relax and unwind, all while enjoying great coffee that was ethically sourced, locally roasted and hand crafted. It was our way of living out our heritage and inviting others both to experience and extend this feeling of belonging in their community and beyond.

With that in mind, we hope you feel at home at Axum. We want to be your place where friendships flourish, stories are shared, much laughter is had, and every day feels a little brighter. We want the coffee experience to be simple and rewarding, with every cup filled with kindness.

At Axum, you can have a long chat with a good friend, a meeting with a colleague, or a first date with your future love. Here you can celebrate winning the big game, adding a new member to your family, turning a year older, or closing that deal you’ve been working hard toward. You can pull chairs together to host a Bible study or just to spend time with other moms talking honestly about life.
