Young, privileged professionals and capable citizens are given an opportunity to live life to the fullest at The Verb Kind by giving back to their community as mentors and volunteers in the Juvenile Justice System across the state of Florida. The organization gives people a chance to experience something amazing, like spending time with kids whom are currently imprisoned up or at-risk.
The Verb Kind was inspired by a group of people who hung out with the kids in the JDC in Orlando, FL every Monday night. The group would do activities, plan fun simple nights, make cookies, coordinate picnics, bring in special guests, and more. The impact on these children was noticeable, and the stories of improved behavior and renewed hope were heard as far as Tallahassee. The Verb Kind is now on a mission to duplicate what began in Orlando, all across the state of Florida.
